The Carrie Able Gallery seeks curatorial intern.

Undergraduate/Graduate Curatorial Internship Internship:

Interns will help curate 1-2 group exhibitions of emerging visual artists.


The Curatorial Internship is open to upper-level undergraduates or graduates pursuing degrees in art history. Reading proficiency in a foreign language relevant to the applicant’s area of study is beneficial. Foreign nationals must have eligibility to participate in unpaid internship placements in the U.S. Applicants are responsible for their own housing and travel arrangements.

Time Commitment:

The internship generally spans eight to ten weeks, with activities carried out three to four days a week during the galleries hours Wednesday/ Thursday/ Friday 3pm-8pm and Saturday/ Sunday 11am- 6pm

Now Accepting applications for the beginning of 2017. Curatorial Internship applications for January 2017 must be submitted no later than Oct 1, 2016. Selected candidates will be contacted for interviews, and applicants will be notified in November 2016.
