Carrie Able and the Aura
Carrie Able and the Aura is a Brooklyn-based band led by multidisciplinary artist and musician Carrie Able. "Lou Reed meets Lana Del Rey and PJ Harvey" — her sound channels the spirit of Nirvana and Jimi Hendrix through experimental rock, emotionally charged lyricism, and an electric guitar presence that is unmistakably her own.
Performances are more than concerts — they are multimedia experiences incorporating live VR projections of hand-painted virtual environments, holography, and dance. The band brings this vision to life with atmospheric instrumentation and dynamic stage presence, with Cliff Aaron on drums and Jake Arnstein on bass. Choreographers and dancers Pink Supakarn and Kate Griffler — collaborators in the VR experiences and select live shows — extend the work into movement, dissolving the line between concert and total sensory experience.
With select discography surpassing 5 million streams and a forthcoming full-band album and 360-degree VR visual experience, Paint the Silence, Carrie Able and the Aura are redefining what it means to be a band in the age of the Metaverse.
