TBT oil on linen of mine from 2004

#tbt to this #oilonlinen painting of mine from 2004 .. at that time painting let alone #figurative painting was not popular.  The saying went "painting is dead" so I was kicked out of my the distinction program at Duke (a few weeks after my dad passed away)  My advisor Pedro Lasch was really great and told me channel my emotions into a painting.  This is the first painting I did afterwards.
